ART IS MEDICINE
project aim
Creative Kids is proud to facilitate Project AIM, a nationally recognized and award-winning program providing pediatric oncology patients at Providence Children’s Hospital with high-quality visual arts education. Our program is a recognized leader in the field, honored at the White House with the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities Youth Program Award –the nation’s highest honor for out-of-school time programming. Additionally, the National Endowment for the Arts has named Project AIM a Best-Practice Model for its innovative approach to arts in healthcare. The program culminates in the Imagination Gallery (located on the hospital's 3rd floor), where the children’s work is professionally exhibited. By showcasing their creativity, we celebrate their resilience and provide each child with a profound sense of accomplishment and pride.
